L'atœll
L’atœll is a place of creation where glass comes to life. Dedicated to the art of blown glass, it is rooted in Brittany, on the edge of the Brocéliande forest, within the former classrooms of a small hamlet school now inhabited by fire and molten matter.
Here, time stretches to the rhythm of gestures and transforming glass. L’atœll opens its doors during cultural events and workshops, inviting both children and adults to approach the warmth of the furnace, to feel the breath of the glass, and to discover the quiet rigor of this ancestral craft.
Guided by a singular sensitivity and a constant desire for exploration, the workshop shapes collections where function meets poetry: everyday objects, lighting pieces, sculptures, and decorative works engage in a subtle balance between control and movement.
Above all, a place of exchange, L’atœll is nourished by encounters and gives rise to bespoke projects, shaped by many hands and perspectives.
With the passing seasons, the workshop moves in harmony with nature: in winter, the furnaces hum and radiate warmth through the walls of the former school; with the first birdsong, they gently fall silent, giving way to light and the energy of the brighter days.
